Students and the Library

If you are interested in teaching your students to use the library, please call or come by to schedule a tour of your local library. We can explain to students an overview of the Dewey Decimal system, how books are arranged on the shelves, how to use our online catalog and more. We can adapt the tour and information to fit you and your classroom needs.

If you need materials on certain subjects for your classroom, please let the library staff know and we can have the materials ready for you to pick up.

We encourage all children to get a library card and to visit the library often!

The IT Academy offers free, online, self-paced technology courses on three levels - basic digital literacy skills, Microsoft Office Skills and advanced skills for Microsoft professional certification.
