Support the Library
Libraries are always in need of funding for additional materials for check-out or extra project funds, and we are no different! Your direct donation to the Pend Oreille County Library District can be used for our greatest area of need or directed toward an area that you feel passionate about (children’s books, technology training, etc.). Currently, we are only able to take direct donations in the form of cash or check.
Donations POCLD Accepts
The Friends of the Library accept donations of quality used books and movies that can be either added to the library’s collection of materials or sold in book sales with proceeds going to the library. Book donations are tax deductible and can be left at the branch of your choice at your convenience.
Monetary donations are also tax deductible and welcome. Cash or checks made out to the Friends of the POCLD can be left at any branch. Credit card donation can be made via PayPal.
The Friends cannot use the following items and ask that they are NOT donated:
- Harlequin Romance novels
- Out of Date Text Books
- Readers’ Digest Condensed Books
- Encyclopedias
