The Pend Oreille County Library District invites interested parties to submit a bid to fill our role of Independent Contractor-Courier.
This position is responsible for the weekly delivery of District materials between branches in Pend Oreille County and between our Newport Branch and the Community Information Network hub in Hayden, ID.
Contractor will be required to provide current Certificate of Liability Insurance and completed Form W-9 upon selection. Contractor will be responsible for all expenses incurred while performing contracted services, including automobile, truck, and other travel expenses; vehicle maintenance and repair costs; vehicle and other license fees and permits; insurance premiums; road, fuel and other taxes; fines; radio, pager and/or cell phone expenses; hand trucks; meals; and all salary, expenses and other compensation paid to employees or contract personnel the Contractor hires (if applicable). Contractor will pay all applicable taxes related to the performance of contracted services, including Income, Social Security, Medicare, and Self-employment taxes. Contractor will also pay any required unemployment contributions.
Bids should contain the contractor’s name or business name, contact information, pricing information, and any other applicable terms and conditions.
