Did you know that The Lorax by Dr. Seuss was banned by a California elementary school in 1989 because it holds views that are negative to the logging industry? Learn more about The Lorax and other banned or challenged books at our Banned Books Week at the library. We will read The Lorax and then make up our very own Truffula trees to take home.
