When life gives you bears, make cider.

This follow up event to our Spring Bear Aware focuses on nuisance abatement. The Washington State Department of Wildlife will be on hand with their new cider press to talk about how to avoid attracting bears as they are fattening up for winter. Bring your windfall apples (or borrow an apple picker from the library and pick the wild ones) and a jug or jar for your cider.  Registration is encouraged online, by phone (509-998-8543 EX2) or in person at the library.

This event will be both indoors and outdoors at the Usk Community Hall.
